Interactive urban art installation illustrating the water cycle of Stockholm.
Concept development, physical space, placemaking, art, science communication.
Vattenloopen (The Waterloop) was a collab between the culture department and the department for water and sewage management.
The commission was to design and produce an immersive art installation for the Stockholm Culture festival 2020. The brief was to illustrate and communicate the flow of the Stockholm water cycle to a wide public audience.
As the culture festival was cancelled due to Cowid-19 the installation was instead adapted to multi location use and was exhibited at three different locations in central Stockholm over the period of six months instead of five days.
